liblocal-lib-perl software package provides module to use a local path for Perl modules, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblocal-lib-perl
liblocal-lib-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblocal-lib-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblocal-lib-perl *
You will get with liblocal-lib-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
